How To Find Sunny Hill Resort

ROAD DIRECTIONS FROM TORONTO:

Hwy#401 East to Hwy.#115 North (just past Bowmanville) toward Peterborough.
At Peterborough, follow signs for Hwy.#7 East  (Ottawa) - travel approx. 7 km on Hwy.#7 East to Hwy. #28 North, turn left  toward Lakefield/Bancroft.
At the end veer right on Hwy.#28 North toward Bancroft.
In Bancroft, take Hwy.#62 North to Barry's Bay to a dead end (you will be facing Bank of Montreal).
Turn left (west) onto Hwy.#60 West for one block, then turn left onto Dunn Street (aka  Siberia Road and County Road 69).
From the junction of Hwy.#60 and Dunn  Street travel 11 km (6 miles), passing Matucheskie and Babinskie Roads on your right. The third township road is Sunny Hill Road - the Sunny Hill  sign is on the left, but you turn right. Just less than 3 km will bring you to the office at Sunny Hill Resort.

Alternately (not recommended in the winter), for the more adventurous or if you don't need to shop, just north of Purdy on Hwy. #62, turn left on Centreview Road (Papineau Kaminiskeg Lake  Road), (little white church on the southwest corner) and travel 4 km  on Centreview Road (passing Bangor Firehall). Turn right onto Siberia Road and travel 7 km to the  one-lane Iron Bridge.Cross the bridge and travel 4 km to Sunny Hill Road on your left.Just less than 3 km will bring you to the office  at Sunny Hill Resort.

Please note that, should you arrive in Barry's Bay via Algonquin Park, (west to east), on your right hand side you will pass a ValuMart, The Beer Store and Generations Restaurant before you turn right onto the next street, Dunn Street, then see the directions from the jucntion of Hwy #60 and Dunn Street as above.

Please have a look at your road map of Ontario before starting out.  Call 1-800-Ontario to obtain a free map of Ontario (or obtain one at any Ontario Tourism Centre). Currently many highways are or have changed to county roads - don't let this confuse you - the numbers generally stayed the same.

OR through Renfrew and Douglas. If you use the Renfrew/Douglas connection, at the stop sign in Douglas turn right joining Hwy..#60 West in approximately 4 miles turning left at flashing red light.
